Reading iProperty Values and naming them as Files

Hello Guys,

So we've been working on naming our drawing files from our ".ipt" files into ".dxf" files using iLogic. What we want to do is to generate Folders named with parts Material ( we are using sheetmetal so say like "Galvanized Steel - 2mm" so we will use the Material and the Thickness to name the Folder and then the parts drawing in a similar manner. We could name the dxf s with the "FilePath" but thats not very useful because we couldn't read the iProperty.Material or Thickness.

We've spent around 4-5 hours in the forums but couldn't find a good solution to do this. Help is much appreciated. Thanks.

You are absolutely right, my bad not mentioning that we've also spent a good amount of time on google too and found the exact same link. But we couldn't figure out how to use it still.

If anyone could write a sample code where we start a rule in an assembly that creates filenames with the properties of each part inside the assembly, that would be lovely.
