POSITION GENERAL NOTE

In an IDW,

I'm trying to change the location of a general note on a sheet. The note has no link with any view.

The Note.location.X and Note.location.Y of the note are note the location of the note in the sheet.

So my question : how can I move a general note?

Hi @^_^clovis^_^,

If I understood your question correctly, the X & Y values you mention are in cm, not mm perhaps that is why the points don't seem to match their actual location?

The following example "Move sketch entities API Sample": shows you how to move sketch entities, (I assume the approach for Drawing Notes would be similar):

Hello Alex,

Thanks for the info. To modify the location of the General note I modified the X and Y coordinates.

As you point out with the example, using the move method might be the way to go.

I'll try that as soon as possible.
