Place iLogic Component

Hello dear community,

So i have created an assembly that as parts and iParts inside. This parts and iParts can be changed by modifying the form that shows up.

Yes, this could been done using iAssembly, but i had so much combinations to do (and curiosity to explore iLogic) that i used iLogic instead.

Problem: when using Place iLogic Component i get this error : "This command cannot copy and place a document that contains Tube & Pipe components."

That i don't have.

All components are published in a Custom Content Center. I have attached an example of this Assembly.

Any hints?

Best Regards, Joel

Hi @joeldavide

Could you share an image at what point the error occurs in the process? What inventor version are you using?

An update to the previous information, if i make my Assembly with the Assembly template that comes with inventor it works fine. If i use my Assembly template it doesn't work.

Best Regards

That is really weird. Is there anything special in your template other than iproperties? Can you save as your original template and create a new one to ensure no issues?

So the ilogic is working in the standard assembly template.
