Can we include a simple print button so a parts list can be printed.  A print button in the bill of materials would also be useful.

I believe the easiest way to do this is to export to Excel and print from there.

I'm not sure if there are macros or shortcuts in iLogic to print the parts list, but you might want to post your idea to this forum.

But then as soon as that happens and the format isn't exactly what you want; you'll be asking for more program features to make that happen.

As it currently is, if you need a printed output of a parts list, the "Autodesk Suggested" methods seem to be:

1. Export Bill of Materials to Excel. Format & Print as desired.

Or

2. Create a dwg using whatever template you desire. Place a PartsList formatted as desired. Print.

On further consideration, you might be able to create an iLogic code to create a new sheet, with a pre-made sheet format, which is excluded from count and print. The code could then add a parts list using code similar to that found here and then print that sheet.

This would be quite similar to what you described and would only take a couple of clicks to get a parts list printed.

That is, if you are comfortable enough working with iLogic.
