Is there a way to set a sketch command as a shortcut? (Pointsnap Midpoint)

So I do a lot of elevations for work that involve needing to sketch over cabinets and mark door opening direction marks. So far, the easiest way I've found to make these is with the 'Select Midpoint" on the Line commands Point Snap option. Is there a way I can make some kind of shortcut through ilogic or vba to make this process faster? Or maybe a setting inside inventor that only selects End & Midpoints?

Sorry accepted to early ha-ha, sadly that doesn't really do much for me. I tried messing with a few different options there and toggled things on and off but doesn't really work the way I was hoping for. It doesnt just snap to a midpoint when i hover over a project line. I still need to right click - point snaps - midpoint to get it to go right to the midpoint.

Here is an example of what it looks like finished ( I dont know if this would help in any way haha) but i typically have to click a corner of a rectangle then the midpoint and back to a corner.

You are sketching in drawing, not in part?

So you're sketching the "hidden" line?

Start the line command and move mouse cursor close to mid point.  A point should show.  Click and line will connect to it.

Sorry yes that's what I'm doing is sketching on an idw elevation. So, the tedious part is always trying to hover around and find the midpoint, which is why I go through the snaps-mid point and just click the line. Just trying to see if there was a way to streamline those clicks and commands to one instead of 3 clicks 😅
