How to reuse dimensions in a idw file?

Hello everybody!

My issue is: I have similar iparts (Sheet Metal) and I want to make the common dimensions just once in idw file and reuse them when I create a new idw. Is it possible? Do you know some tool I could make this possible?

Can you not just accomplish this by replacing the model reference as found in the toolbar (under Manage, I think) ?

Could you look at the following thread:

It is related to what you need.

Hi Projetos2013,

Are you talking about creating a table such as this:

iPart Tabulated Drawing.png

If so you can just use the General Table tool to do this.

Create a configuration table

Working with Iparts and iAssembly Drawings

I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,
