Driving iLogic Assembly from Drawing Sheet using iLogic and Form

Hi Everyone.

I am new to iLogic coding and have developed iLogic assembly with iLogic parts that are driven from a multi value parameter to select a build based on selection.

It works perfectly on part and assembly level.

How can I drive the assembly model from the drawing sheet work space?

The model is for a ladder assembly with varying lengths as per selection.

The selection of the model instance would be used to drive a parts list as well.

Hello @Thomas_Savage

Thank you for the interest in my query.

Please see attached part and assembly files.

The assembly and part files can be driven from the "form"

I wish to be able to rive them from a drawing sheet (.idw) environment using a form

Hello @kavir

I have not got access to 2019 at the moment.

So i have created a .IPT, .IAM and .IDW.

I have shown changing the sizes of my block from the Drawing sheet. which then changing the sizes in the .IAM and .IPT. Plus shown the iLogic codes i have used.

Hope this is what you wanted to achieve? And helps you achieve what you want?

If you need any more help, i will be happy to help you.

Thomas.

Hi @Thomas_Savage

Thank you for the swift response. That looks to be the outcome I wish to achieve, but i am no seeing success as yet.

I am currently trying to implement your suggested approach.

I seem to be getting an error

"Object reference not set to an instance of an object"

I will keep working on it and if I have success then I will update you.
