All these Inventor prompts (picture below) are using a blurred font allthough I switched off cleartype and switched off font smoothing.

Please consider to introduce a setting making it possible to chose alternative font for those prompts.... or option to make Inventor use the windows system font settings.

Have you tried setting different values within Inventor's Application Options, general tab?

Application Options > General tab > below 'User name' input box, is settings called "Text appearance:", where you can select a different Font and a different Font Size.  Those settings will effect the text shown in the default dialog boxes.

Here is a link to the online help page for that tab of the Application Options, and if you scroll down to the "Text appearance" heading, you will see where it says that these settings effect dialog boxes, browsers, and title bars.

Thank you for your kind and prompt response 🙂

I have now tried the suggested solution... with both times new roman font and tahoma font. The font changes correctly from times new roman to tahoma, but the blurry-problem stays the same.

(Please review zoomed-in picture attachment - text in red boxes is blurry. Text in green boxes is fine.)

Best regards

Jan

Thank your for your kind help. I had setting "Quality". I have changed to "Performance" as shown in your picture... and restarted Inventor for the change to take effect. Unfortunately this does not solve the blurry-font issue... but thank you again for taking your time to propose a possible solution 🙂

Best regards

Yes. I managed to turn off windows cleartype and windows font smoothing so all other dialog boxes in all other applications are now fine.

I suspect these prompts are processed inside the Inventor application code itself, but I do not know. On that suspicion I propose/suggest autodesk introduce a user setting that Inventor can "follow"/adopt windows system setting if so desired by the user (very much desired by me). My eyes get sore because my brain interpretes the blurryness as the text being out of foces so my eyes continously/constantly tries to focus the text... but to no avail because these prompts seem somehow "hard-coded" as blurry.

Best regards
