I'm tring to create custom frame members for the frame generator.  I am able to publish a custom frame (tubing) many attemps,   but they all  go to the content center files and I can't access them from the frame gereator .  This as well as every time I try to work with inventor templetes drives me crazer than normal.  Help Please!!!!!!Screenshot (514).pngScreenshot (515).pngScreenshot (516).pngScreenshot (517).pngScreenshot (518).pngScreenshot (519).pngScreenshot (520).png

Replying to my own post , can't find a way to add to the original.   I Found the reason for this problem,  but thats a problem.  Apparently the Default Template that Inventor had created for me is a read only template.  Years ago I handed my files with projects.  It cause problems for me.  I now use one project the default project,  I handle my files,  thousands of files with folders and sub folders,  that has let me keep and find and share my stuff better than I ever could with projects.   Now I have to use a different project a read write project that I made to create a custom frame member and see it in the frame generator .  Some of my current files I would like to use with custom frame members ,those files   are in the default project.  CAN I CHANGE THE DEFAULT PROJECT AT THIS POINT TO BE READ  & write THAT WOULD SOLVE EVERTHING I THINK.  If not whats my options???

If you need to add a re-write custom library to your project, follow these instructions

- Close ALL open files in Inventor
- Go to the “Get Started” Tab, then click on “Projects”
 - Click on “Configure Content Centre Libraries”

- Select the “Custom Content” library, and click “OK”

- Save changes to the project file

The link below shows the steps with images, which might make this a bit easier.

I found my problem.  I was in the manage, Arthur tap,  I was picking from the extreme right side , publish to  the content center,  and  it was  doing that,  but I did not know  there was another tab for publishing to the frame generator.  Once I found this  it was a daisy.
