This is issue number INVGEN-43789. We should be able to fix it soon.

Hi Mike, I do not know if it could be related, but the forms editor is also acting up.

@D0UGLAS , can you give more details about problems in the form editor?
Because of the slow forms, changes you make in the form editor will also run more slowly. You might see it building the form piece by piece after every change.

Yes Mike,

I only added a single parameter to form, then it hung up for a long time before it appeared.

When I tried to scroll up through the form in the editor, the displayed form flickered many times in a way which reminded me of having the parameters set to recalculate after every change and not when requested.

This slowdown for the moment has stopped me from using the form, I change the parameters in the parameter editor, so I hope these observations help.

I'm pretty sure that's caused by the same problem (which is INVGEN-43789).
Every time you add a new parameter or other item, iLogic has to redraw the form. In 2021.1, that is taking much longer. And while the form is being drawn, you may see controls being moved around.

Hi Mike,

How are AUTODESK getting on with this? INVGEN-43789

Waiting for forms to load is agony and somewhat defeats their objective.

Kind Regards

Douglas

Seems this was solved by INVGEN-44234 release 2021.1.1 Update.
