coding autogeneration 3d projects

Hi all,

I have to create many 3d projects very similar. Maybe the differences are on dimension of components. Exist a way to coding a c++ or python code to autogenerate a 3d projects?

it's possible to copy files and change them by code. Therefore I think it's possible what you want to do. There are many resources to do this with vb.net (That makes also c# easy). I never heard anyone doing this with Python. There are not many resources for c++ but have a look at this site.

Also if you have more questions I would suggest posting to the "inventor customization forum"

There is a solution that does exactly what you are asking for - Fyenite (https://apps.autodesk.com/INVNTOR/en/Detail/Index?id=669751637385526177&appLang=en&os=Win64). It allows you to setup “workflows” to automate your CAD files with quite a bit of customization options. No programming knowledge required!
