Change Material and copy

Hello together,

whats the best way to change the material in a part? I use this code for VB.Net:

oDoc.ComponentDefinition.Material = oDoc.Materials.Item("Titanium")

Is there a better way and more stable for Inventor 2014-2016?

How could I copy materials from one library to another one?
