Change Appearance in content center .. Is it possible without create a new material ?

it is possibel to change the Appearance form  content center?  As standard I have the possibility to change material  but Appearance is lock to the material. It is possible to change the Appearance..So I can use like steel as material ..But want to change Appearance is the component is Raw, Galvanzed  or maybe painted blue.  without have to create new materials for each variant

you will need to replace the template file for the Content Center file. This only works for Custom Content Center Files.

I am working with custom content center files, But I can´t change the templete each that some users want to use a new color… I could create a material for each Appearance that I want. But just wanted to find out if there was a other way to do it

What you want is the possibility to change the color/appearance of the custom content center file on creation/selection via add from content center, equal like you have the possibility to choose materials?
