After creating feature, part switches to the iLogic browser

This is a minor annoyance but still pretty annoying.

I have my iLogic browser docked on the same pane as the feature tree (different tab).  After I create or edit a feature Inventor automatically switches to the iLogic tab. So I have to always click back to the feature tree every time.

Any idea why it is doing this and how to stop it?

Please not that this happens even in part files with no iLogic programs, and my inventor has the latest updates

I'm assuming you're using Inventor 2020?  If so then I've had others ask me the same question and, for them at least, it was due to the fact that the iLogic browser was the tab at the far right of the tabs shown.  When you create a feature it switches to the properties tab and always puts it on the right side of the tabs, then when you close that tab it automatically switches to the tab directly to the left of it.  Try putting your model tab on the far right or just don't dock the properties tab.

Thank you for your reply.

I don't have the properties tab docked. So this may not be the solution.
But if it is behaving as you suggest, then I can move the model tab to the
right of the iLogic tab and it should work around this issue.

Hi! I know this annoying behavior. It is a bug. It has been fixed on the coming 2020.2 update. Please try it once the update becomes available.

Many thanks!

I have the same problem back with Inventor pro 2023.2.1. After I run Addin program, the browser   always switches to "iLogic" pane. I have to manually click and go back to "Model" pane.

Does anyone know how to use API to automatically switch back to "Model pane"

Thanks

Thanks

Just found a solution to switch back to Model pane:

ThisApplication.ActiveDocument.BrowserPanes.Item("Model").Activate()

Thanks
