Add Plane to all parts in an ipart

I have an iPart, I added a plane to the parent member, but this plain doesn't seem to carry through to the other members of the family.

I'm trying to use an ilogic rule to constrain to that plane (set on a face) in any of the different members of the ipart family.

How do I add the plane across the board?
