Information about FEA solver

Hello everyone ,

I would like if it is possible to have information on these two points:

1- what kind of solver uses the constraint analysis module on inventor Pro: algorithmic aspect (direct or iterative), mesh, type of elements ..etc.

2- During my analysis I had a problem of mesh distortion, I wanted to know how to fix and correct this distortion.

Hi @Anonymous,

I'm not sure what you mean by your first question.  Could you elaborate?

For the second question, there is no direct method of manipulating the mesh to correct distorted elements.  The only option is to try a local mesh refinement.

for my first question  I want to know  , what sort of calculation  method  use the solver
