I have been doing some digging on this issue on this forum, but I haven't found a fix for my specific problem.
Basically what has been happening on my machine is that I will perform a stress analysis on any part or assembly, placing constraints and forces just fine, and then the simulation will also run.
The first thing to note is the simulation only takes 5-10 seconds to run, regardless of the size of the model being analyzed. Once this is completed, nothing actually happens, it basically goes back to the same screen just prior to hitting the "Simulate" button.
Some background: running Inventor Professional 2017 build 256, release: 2017.4.4 - Date Wed 04/25/2018, 64-bit edition
My OS: Windows 7 Enterprise, SP1, 64 bit.
I don't really understand why this is happening only to my computer (I shared multiple different models with my colleagues so they could run the simulations on their machines).
Sorry for making this lengthy, but just for more background I have tried repairing Inventor, as well as updating to the newest version, each to no avail.
I would post a model to show the example of the problem, but like I said, it appears to be an issue with my program all together, not an individual file.
