Has this issue ever been solved? This lack of feature creates alot of unnecessary work to get around involving sketches with a box. A prefix and suffix option for a Basic dimension would be nice?
I have the same issue, as I imagine everyone does. If you try & use a text leader, without the leader, the text blocks part of the BASIC box. The interesting part is that when you have a REFERENCE dimension, the feature quantity is outside the parentheses.
