PDF property mapping (IProperties 2 PDF properties)

Please map the Inventor IProperties to the corresponding PDF properties when exporting a pdf file.

PDF description properties:    These properties should always be mapped.

PDF custom properties:         These properties should be mapped on demand

The user should be able to choose which additional properties he would like to map.

I voted for this but do not want any of them "automatically" mapped.

I'm all for being able to control which ones do get mapped though..

...according to ISO7200 thom-g is right, and that could be the default setting.

But the possibility to disable the mapping should be given (it might be that one doesn't want to send out the full lastname of the guy who has last saved the document before sending out the PDF, and similar issues)

...apparently this feature is being added to Vault 2024.2 (apparently over there ideas get attention already by 5 votes)

So it's available in AutoCAD, and it will be soon available in Vault.

Hopefully soon or later it will come also in Inventor...
