Make default again the Scale of Printing to Best fit...

...so trees, woods, and the Greenpeace won't be moaning about wasting paper

due to inadvertent printing! (Inventor 2018)

@Andrew2803 Why aren't you using Model 1:1?

If you let us know then maybe we can help you setup your templates/drawings properly..

In Model 1:1 a large model (Square meter or such) doesn't fit to an A3 sheet...

huh?

that print setting is related to page (sheet) size not base view/model scale?

 

If my sheet is set to 11x17 I can put a model of the world on it and still select model 1:1 and it will print correctly on 11x17 paper in my printer..

 

Maybe it should really be called "sheet 1:1" to avoid this confusion..

Seems you hit the nail, and I agree. Must be a grammatical issue.

 

But in summary, Inventor really should remember to last time used settings maybe universally?

It is really annoying to keep an eye on several tool's settings whether they remained the same,

or switched themselves back to their default state...
