I'm submitting this as an idea that I'm hoping can be incorporated easily somehow.
I was thinking that it would be a good idea if there was a way that users could share material library files. I'm sure companies have done research on materials that aren't included in either of the default installed Autodesk or Inventor material libraries. It would be good to share these. I have been trying to find materials applicable to our solutions but it has been challenging because the parameters I have found don't easily line up with expected fields in Nastran or Inventor and need to be converted which isn't always straight forward. It would be great if there was a database where we had an option to download the material libraries. Perhaps something already exists and I'm not aware?
