iFeature with text

I would like to have an iFeature with text in it.

That way we can quickly add something like an engraved part number.

This would be really nice to have for anyone who would like to etch or engrave. Would also be nice to be able to use iLogic in iFeatures.

Still not possible in 2021 version. A potential work around might be converting the text in to sketch entities. This does mean though that you'll have constrain all the various entities. Also, the conversion may not match the exact font you were after.

iFeatures with text extrusions - crossing fingers it'll be a thing soon (currently not a thing in Inventor 2025).

Even if the text was static (can't change via a parameter), that would be good for showing some stamped markings on parts.
