Different hot key for type of constrain

Different hot key for type of constrain

It would be nice, If I choose different hot key for different constrains. I can save time for chosing it in dialog box, if I start constraining with select right type.

Now is only one hot key for constrain dialog.

Within the constraint dialog box, I want keyboard shortcuts for cycling through the Type and Solution options.

I don't want to move my mouse pointer back and forth between the parts and the constraint dialog window.  This is a small waste of time that happens over and over every time I work on an assembly.

I can use arrow keys to cycle between the Type options, which helps.  I wish that shortcut wasn't on the opposite side of my keyboard, though; this makes it about as slow as moving back and forth with the mouse.

To cycle between the Solution options on the keyboard, I have to hit Tab FIVE times and then an arrow key, which is slower than using the mouse.

It would also solve my problem if I could define my own shortcut for "Directed Angle" constraint.

Related idea: Constrain 1/2 Hotkeys (hotkey for each selection of a constraint). Please consider voting for that one as well.

Maybe after we start the Constrain command, the numbers along the top of the keyboard could select the Constraint type (Mate, Angle, Tangent, etc.), and the numeric keypad could be used to change which Selection you're making. And maybe the spacebar could toggle through the Solution types.

Of course, if you have the cursor active inside the "Offset" box, pressing those keys would type in the box. But if you click anywhere outside that box, it would go back to the hotkey mode where pressing those keys changes the appropriate button.

8 years later and still no traction on this.... Doesn't anyone at Autodesk actually use it? Toggling between constraint type, selections and solution all need to be user programmable to hotkeys. Auto switching to the opposite solution when the first solution fails would also be logical.
