Stud bolts

Support stud bolts in the Bolted connection wizard.

Both studs that are in a blind threaded hole and studs with nuts each end, such as used on flanges.

This has been a request for many years now and very much needs to be implemented.

When we use the Bolted Connection tool, there is no possibility to have the Stud Bolts /Threaded rods available.

When we have to connect flanges, just normal bolts are available in the list of available components in the Bolted Connection dialog.

We would like to have the following solution (see image below which shows the Stud Bolts inserted manually from the Content Center).

Another example is on automotive engines, where the most used bolted connections are made out of Stud Bolts between the engine head and the block.

Yes, Please!

I would ideally like to be able to open a dialogue box, just click a starting face og a flange, then the terminating face (allows for compnents between flange faces).

Then tick a box if I need washers, specify material and standard. Then inventor would go ahead and populate the flange with studs.

Can you share what you have done with your iLogic or addin for flange studs flange connection? Please! Thank you
