Flattened sheets of fabric
Don't you think it would be a great idea, if we could make fabric sheets. So it could act like fabric. For example for a convertible car roof? Or a child's Pushchair/Stroller? Or even a sheet for a bed?
This idea has been implemented within Autodesk Inventor 2020. A new Unwrap command allows you to obtain a flat surface from any set of continuous faces. Unwrap lets you flatten nearly any shape into a surface that can be saved or exported in different formats. Special thanks to everyone who cast a vote for it.
