Edge selection for aligning drawing view dimensions

By default, Inventor assumes I need aligned drawing dimensions parallel to the two selected vertices, but that is not always the intent. Often, the need is to select two vertices to dimension between, but to have the actual dimension aligned parallel to an altogether different edge/vector. Please add the option to select the proper edge/vector for dimension alignment. Thanks.
