I use frame generator a lot. We us a variety of round and rectangular tubes. It would be great to be able to cope around a round tube mid-member. It would be great if there was a modified version of the Notch tool where you could select the member to get coped, select the member to get coped around, input the depth of the cope or use machine handbook standards. My current process is:
1) Edit the member that is getting coping to, and create a work plane tangent to the member parallel to the proper origin plane
2) Return to frame
3) Under the Design tab - Enter Trim/Extend tool
4) Select member(s) to that will be getting coped
5) Click the “Face” button and select the work plane that was previously created
6) Enter the depth of the cope
7) Click apply
8) Under the Design tab - Enter Notch tool
9) Select member to get coped
10) Select the member to get coped around
11) Click apply
