Add preview window to BOM, like this:

Can you clarify - do you mean BOM or parts list?

 

If you mean BOM - you can add a Thumbnails column - does that help?

BOM but why not also in parts list.

 

Thumbnail is quite small and it also widens other columns.

Thumbnail in parts list is not currently supported.

Preview should be in a floating window just like in the picture in first message.
