Add hatch to a surface (Dynamic Structures) - DSL

So for marking curtain areas to be painted or not as the case may be we are currently creating sketches at the drawing level but this does not handle change well and this may have to be done many times. So I came up with the idea of adding this as a surface in the model so when placed in the drawing the area shows up but to add the hatch I would have to do a sketch at the drawing level kind off back to square one. So can we please assign a hatch to a surface.
