It would be nice to log in only once a day. I think the old forums kept log-in info for several weeks.

Especially since it is a five-minute fix for a web developer
to create a new cookie if the checkbox is selected. That's how your username is
preserved. For some reason, a lot of websites have switched to preserving only
the username instead of both. I find that very irritating...
