VBA / Macros not initiating

Anyone has problem with VBA and Macros command not working in Inventor?

I am using INV2014. When I click-on the icon it does not initiate neither gives any error details?

Hi @Anonymous,

Have you tried with Inventor reset utility? Windows start, searching Inventor reset utility and then select the version to reset. if it does not work, then try to repair program via control panel.

Thanks

Will this delete any changes to styles and standard libraries?

Thanks

Hi! Are you on Win 10? If yes, I don't recall Inventor 2014 supports Win10. There might be shared components required for Inventor 2014 not available on Win 10.

Many thanks!

Hi! Then I would try Repair Install. Go to Control Panel -> Programs and Features -> find Autodesk Inventor Professional 2014 -> right-click on it -> Uninstall/Change -> Repair Install.

It looks like a shared component necessary for VBA to run was not installed properly.

Many thanks!
