I have what I think should be a simple motion, but isn't behaving properly. I'd like to drive or animate this later, but I suspect it won't go well with the behavior of the constraints as is.
The red triangle part should move from vertical when at the bottom, to horizontal when at the top. but the transitional constraints keep popping out of their tracks and running along the outside surfaces of the rectangle.
Your forum signature indicates you're using Inventor 2014 standard but the assembly was created in Inventor 2019.4..
Anyhow it was last saved with Inventor 2020. Have you applied 2020.2 and tried again? Just wondering if there was an issue with the original 2020 release.

Expand the Relationships folder.
Right click on the Drive this constraint and select Drive.
You might have better luck if you make distinct surface bodies for the transition constraints.

Hi! Yes, I agree with Andrew. You want to create a zero offset surface on the faces of the stationary part. Then edit the transitional constraint and select the surface body as the stationary face. This helps control the scope of transition. Otherwise, the constraint solver and move the part (pop) else where on the stationary part, since all faces on the part are fair game.
