Structured Parts List not available

For some reason, I am unable to create a structured Parts List in the drawings. (Watch attached video)

Can anyone help in this question?

Hi! I believe you may have a PartOnly PartsList from the same assembly in the drawing, right? The behavior you are seeing is a preventative measure avoiding item# collision. When you have a PartOnly PartsList of an assembly, you can only create PartOnly PartList of the same assembly within the same drawing, likewise for Structured.

There is a backdoor access however, Start a new drawing and then create a Structure PartsList for the same assembly -> copy the sheet and paste it to the old drawing.

Many thanks!

Hi,

@paberzsvaldis You have not enabled it in the BOM of the assembly file!

@johnsonshiue  Will this function in future releases too!? I would be very careful with these kind of tricks!

Of the assembly file I have enabled 'structured' and 'parts only' BOM View. (Watch attached video)

Did not fully understand how it works, but, creating a new drawing file, allowed me to create structured part list for for the main assembly, and PartOnly for other sub assembly.

Thanks for the help.
