Split Table Bug

Typically, When I generate a bill of materials, the Length of an item is set by default at "1 in" if it's not a Frame Generator part. I usually have to go into the BOM of a drawing and manually set these cells as Static Values and delete the cell contents so that it shows nothing.

Recently I've been experimenting with Structured Legacy BOMs, and I've tried splitting the Table to make it more organized. However, when I do this the static values revert back to their default value. I've tried manually going in and changing them, but upon pressing "OK" to close the Table configuration menu, they again revert back to "1 in".

What can I do to get around this problem?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Open the part that shows the "Length" in the BOM, then go Tools > Document settings and switch to the Bill of Materials tab.
There you can change the Base Quantity / Base Unit to "each"

Would / does that solve your problem?

Thank you for the reply.

I've gone into this menu but it appears my configuration is already set up the way you suggested. Do you have any other thoughts on why this might be happening?

Is that for every part in your BOM that shows length?
If the length isn't defined there, where is it stored?

The column in your parts list is supposed to pull the data from the individual parts/assemblies, so it should be somewhere in the iProperties.
If you can clear that iproperty, it should no longer show up in your parts list.
(i'm off for the weekend now, might not reply till monday)

Hi Avery,

Please share the files that exhibit the wrong table data behaviors here in zip. I would like to understand the issue better.

Many thanks!
