Saving File Windows Fills Entire Screen

Hey,

Every time I save a file the 'save file' window fills the entire screen.

I can't resize or move the window around at all.

Has anyone else come into this?

I am using inventor 2021 and Win 10, 1909.

Thanks 🙂

What happens if you pull the lower corner ... does it revert back to full screen each time you save?

Try the Inventor Reset Utility.

Clicking and dragging from the corners/edges doesn't resize the window at all and every time I save a new file it fills the entire screen.

When I go to resize the my mouse does change into one of those double sided arrows.

I'll give that reset tool a try thanks.

Unfortunately no dice on the reset tool.

I'd try doing a clean uninstall / reinstall then

Shocked this isn't working

Yeah its very odd.

I'm reasonably confident I'm not making any mistakes with my ability to resize a window. I did it to firefox when I was writing this to check. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thanks for your help!

Stupid suggestion, but what happens if you hold the "windows" key and press any of the direction arrows?

Ayy that works a treat. Snapping it to the edge of the screen freed it from its frozen state and now it can be moved and resized.

Thanks a heap!
