Got this rather unusual message come up on the Homepage of Inventor instead of the usual icons images of the files associated with the project

Hello.  Is there anything on your home page that is pointing to either a cloud site or a network location which could be offline at the time you see this?

I don't use The Cloud or any external storage, I don't like or trust them. When I closed it an tried again after post the problem all was OK. BUT I have notice and so have others that Inventor 2026 seems a bit buggy and temperamental compare to previous releases

Hi! I am not sure if the following article applies to you. But the error message seems to be the same as yours.

https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Error-Code-Out-of-...

The article mentions it could be Chrome 32-bit related. The Chromium browser used by Homepage is 64-bit so I am a bit confused. Try a few things. Make sure all the critical Windows updates, the latest graphics driver, and all the critical PC vendor updates are installed. Use Windows Disk Cleanup to remove cached files.

How much system RAM and graphics RAM does your machine have?

Many thanks!

I think this issue is related with expensive NVIDIA graphic card. No problem when it is cheap 😊 for real..

For example while working with Ada 5000 INV always needs to press Home button after the command Remove Unpinned to refresh and remove unpinned .

Before 2026.1 (I mean 2026.0) if you (me) have a NVIDIA RTX 5000 Ada Generation Laptop GPU you have to wait at least 2 minutes for the first opening of any type of document (loading templates took about 2 minutes @single user, no Vault)

In 2026.1 this time reduced to 30 seconds.. 😂 These are my observations and may be wrong.

Today (micro&soft) Edge removed google translation extension because of suspicious code detection. It is happening since DOS 5.0 and Windows 3.1

Nowadays I'm experiencing issues with windows virtual memory of 17MByte while using my INV VBA macros & forms, Machine is i9-13980 128GByte & 16 GByte GPU and a high resolution 34" secondary display with 3DConnexion. Inventor can not efficiently use these resources. Even if the very heavy duty, it uses max %8 of CPU power. A 500+ body multipart document sometimes needs 3 hours to change one dimension only.

I'm trying to give up VBA and fully switch to VS2022 C# WPF for Inventor.

Regards.
