rack and pinion gears

Does anyone know of a way to make rack gears, which will work with motion constrains, base on pinion gears created by the AutoCad Inventor 11 Generator?

I think you will have to model the rack gear.
There is an example in the Samples... Arbor Press.

You might also look hear.

Attached is some parameter driven gearrack that I think was adapted from the iPart on CBliss' site. There are many other parts there as well. The gearrack is only modeled for an initial section of teeth. We found this greatly improved update times for idw's.
