hI,

I'VE ALREADY GOT THE ONE DRAWING FOR PROJECT "A".  I WANT TO USE THIS DRAWING FOR PROJECT "B" . SO I USE PACK AND GO COMMAND FOR PROJECT "A" DRAWING AND USE IN PROJECT "B". BUT WHEN I MAKE THE SOME CHANGES IN PROJECT "B" DRAWING , THE ORIGINAL PROJECT "A" DRAWING ALSO EFFECTED. IT UPDATED AUTOMATICALLY. I DON'T WANT TO EFFECT IN PROJECT "A" DRAWING. HOW SHOULD I SOLVE IT?

OTHER PROBLEMS IS IN VISUAL STYLE . THE DRAWING LOOK TRANSPARENT ALTHOUGH I CHANGE THE SHADED VIEW IN VISUAL STYLE. BUT WHEN I CHANGE THE PERSPECTIVE VIEW, IT'S OK. WHEN I CHANGE BACK TO ORTHOGRAPHIC VEIEW, STILL HAVE THIS PROBLEMS, PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHEMET,

THANKS

You don't want pack and go ...

you want to copy design ..

The  way you're doing it ..you'll need to replace model reference ...

Are you using Vault or an IPJ/project ?

Ok ...so lets back up then...

What version of Inventor?

Have you done the tutorials?

Also are you using an IPJ?

So no you don't want to use a pack and go .... you want to use copy design ..however since you're not using vault, you'll want to do it in Design Assistant.

here is a google search of some good copy design via Design Assistant
