Inventor - Vault communication issue

Anonymous
Not applicable

Good day,
Sort of, I have lost Vault-Inventor communication.

While in Vault I can download files, launch them in INV, but Inventor keeps suggesting files are not "newest" (red circle).
In addition, in the Vault if I want to change the iProperties of a file (ctrl + e), a window for changes opens, I enter the changes, accept, Vault process it and ends it positively, but nothing changes - the iProperties remain the same as before changes.

Any idea what could have gone wrong?

I will add that yesterday I popped up with an error in the Vault (probably .xml files or some other database files), unfortunately in the heat of work I clicked OK and did not read it.

Is there a subprogram for Vault / Inventor troubleshootings?

Unfortunately, the error that popped up in Vault doesn't reappear.

Can upload a screenshot off the error message?

Unfortunately I clicked OK and it did not appear again.

Tho, Inventor now sees that it has up to date files (it fixed itself, not idea how).

However I still can not edit iProperties in Vault screencast here: https://autode.sk/37P7ZL4

If you delete the part in the workspace folder from your hard disk, and try it again?

It does not help either.

FYI: It does work on other workstations so it's my setup issue only.

Have you loaded the correct Vault project ipj file?

Also tried to delete the Project file in youre workspace, and get the project file again from Vault?

Can you check the mapping from the ipropertie in Vault. is it 1 direction or 2 directions?

Is youre Role changed in Vault?

Deleting: I just tried to delete .ipj and download it again - did not help.

Mapping: As far I understood with this https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/inventor/learn-explore/caas/screencast/Main/Details/5e4a9bf8-... this is an option for Vault Proffessional I am using Basic version.

Role: My role did not change and I have ALL privilages because I am sort of "admin" of our Vault.

EDIT: I found out this problem occurs only with .idw files. I am able to edit iProperties of .iam / .ipt files.

Red circles also means that files have been moved or renamed?

Perhaps you can post the problem in the Autodesk Vault Forum?

I dont know how to fix it. Reinstall the Vault client can help?
