Inventor model tree / browser missing

Hi,

I'm using Inventor 2018 with a student license. Sometime today my model tree / browser has gone missing, no idea why.

I googled the problem but all I found was:

[View tab... User interface drop down in the windows pane.. Check "model"].

The problem is, as you can see in the screenshots, it's checked but it's just not there. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Try finding and downloading the inventor reset utility.

did it get moved off the screen or hidden behind it ... the Browser can move around now. Much easier than previous versions.

I can't believe the fix for this clears all your personal setting, this fix is no were to be found on the internet except here, thanks the info.

Without the browser the software is useless

Save settings before using the Reset... too late now, of course.

Hi everyone! In addition to the solutions mentioned earlier (reset utility and view tab > click user interface > check 'model'), the Inventor team made an update in Inventor 2020 to improve this experience. If the model tree gets closed, you can click the plus sign highlighted in the picture and select 'Model Browser' from the dropdown.
