So you have the old application manager installed or do you have the new desktop app installed?  This is the interface that used for updating your Autodesk product.

Is Inventor actually working or not?  If it is, don't worry about the message or uninstall the app (but not Inventor).

This link seems to speak to this issue around the time of your version.

I am guessing that this didn't just start happening.  You might want to consider as suggested in this link about upgrading.

Hi! You don't need Autodesk Application Manager to run Inventor. Try this. Close all apps. Go to Control Panel -> Programs and Features -> Autodesk Application Manager -> right-click -> Uninstall/Change -> Uninstall. After that, does Inventor work now?

Many thanks!

I have uninstalled as per your suggestion. I have restarted the computer, error message did not appear. I have started inventor 2016, I will work on it and come back to you if it has some problems in working
