iFeature root folder path not working

According to the help page, on the iFeature tab in Application Options the iFeature root path is what needs to be specified for the View Catalog dialogue box. I've set it to my preferred folder, but for some reason it's not going to it and just defaults to my documents folder. Anyone else experiencing this? I'm using 2018.

Hi! I am not aware of change in behavior in this workflow. Is it possible you browsed to a different folder last time when trying to insert an iFeature? If you change it to a different folder path in the root folder setting, does Inventor browse to the new folder path on inserting an iFeature?

Many thanks!

In Application Options I have both iFeature root and iFeature user root set to the same path, since I only want to use my own features. When I use Insert iFeature on the Insert tab, it goes to the correct folder I set, but when I click the dropdown below it and choose View iFeature Catalog, that just opens windows explorer to my documents folder and not the correct one I specified. I've tried different folder paths just to check and see if a different one would work and it still does the same thing.

Hi! You may also need to change the "iFeature viewer argument string" in Tools -> Application Options -> iFeature. By default, it is set to the system default iFeature folder.

Many thanks!
