So I am remodeling a gun and I would like to get the grip texture onto the model (cant be a 2d texture because this will be 3d printed). I am using Inventor Pro 2020 and have no idea how to attempt this grip pattern.

Any help would be appreciated,

Thanks

Inventor is not the right tool for modeling a knurling pattern on a 3D surface, I would split the handle out into a seperate part and use Blender to model the knurl as the last step before exporting from Blender to .stl for printing.
