How to export an Assembly to a STEP file

Hello,

I have an assembly and i'm trying to export it as a STEP file. When i click Save As --> Save as Type, it doesn't give me the option to pick STEP file. Attached file below.

Thank you

File > Export > CAD Format.

Hope that helps.

As @blandb mentioned, you will not find it under the save as command.  You have to select the export.

Hi! On top of what has already been mentioned by our experts, you can also set up an STEP Export task in Task Scheduler. It will export a selected file or files in selected project folders to STEP in a batch.

Many thanks!
