Hey everyone, Friday again!
I had hoped to post my contest today, but i've run into a little snag permission wise... so i hope i can post it next week...
Because of that i didn't really prepare something, so i threw this together yesterday.
It's a little bench i made for fun, playing with the shape and patterning along a spline, threw some trees in there for the shadow effect.
(downloaded those from cadnav)
It's not really finished, so it might do some more work on it in the future.
As a little bonus, there was an update for 3DS Max that added fluid simulation... so i've been playing with that all morning.
It's pretty fun, but there are sooo many settings... will take some time to get the hang of it, but here's a first try:
(i picked the frame where it looked the best... the water did not collide with the bucket properly in most frames)
So, the fluid simulation did cheer me up but i do hope i can post the contest next week and that you all will participate.
Enjoy the weekend!

I don't usually render much stuff, but I went ahead and did a real quick shot of this cabinet that I was working on earlier this week since I went to the effort of modelling a hanging file folder

Hello,
@-niels- that bucket with the water looks amazing.
@Thomas_Savage thanks, i think the water is a bit too "thick" but it's not bad for a first try...
Here's a quick 100 frame animation of what i managed with a little tweaking.

I can't overstate enough how much I love this program
Autodesk VRED.
LaFerrari done with the BMW individual Frozen Black paint. I could do this all night.
OK last one, but I swear I'm about to combust with excitement playing with this, it's soooooo satisfying
Hello @Neil_Cross
WOW!
That is incredible.
I might have to have a look at VRED.
And have a play around with it.
Thomas.
