A happy new year and best wishes everyone!
Time for the first edition of our Friday pictures for this year.
I'm working on a fun little personal project, but that isn't ready to show just yet.
Instead, i thought i'd start out with something i had to model for work this first week.
In case anyone's wondering, it is an ultrasonic wind gauge.
We don't fabricate this, it's another bought item for which the chance of getting a 3D model was small... so i just modeled it myself.
As a little bonus, i made a small animation with the camera circling around the scene. (because rendering larger would take too long)
Enjoy the weekend!

Hi everyone,
Happy new year!
I had a little time off work this past week and decided to work on the chopper some more. Although it's still not finished, I couldn't wait any longer to make a render. So I exported it to Max and made this render. I want to make more renders with scenery but since I'm moving to the other side of the world (Malaysia) for my company I probably won't have much time to make them any time soon.
Hopefully you'll enjoy my own custom design chopper
Have a great weekend!
Hi everyone,
A happy new year and all the best whishes for 2018!
@-niels-: Thank you for posting my banner.
@Frank-Oosterwaal: chopper is starting to look beautiful, I understand you can't wait any longer for a render. Wish you a save journey and nice time over there.
I don't have enough time at the moment to make some nice renderings, so today just some simple Inventor images of what keeps me busy these weeks. This is one of the two projects I am working on. A project to make 3D (decorative) panels from 2D drawings for a parking garage.
Not as complex as yours @S_May, looks great.
Enjoy the weekend!

Sascha's (S_May) input looks amazing.
But let me ask:
Is it a rendering, or a photo?
If it's rendered, could you please tell us about:
- Inventor version
- Total inventor size (P&G)
- What has been used for rendering? (Inventor or special software?)
- If being rendered, how long did it take?
- Which hardware has been used for rendering (CPU, graphics card, RAM size, ... )
