Hello,
when doing FEA of welded parts I have to disable all contacts between welded parts (except for weld contacts) to simulate connection by weld only. At the moment I browse the contacts list and manually select the contacts. That is tedious.
Is there a way that I haven't found to filter/search this Contacts list by part or word? I know that there is some logic to the order and that helps, but the way that would be the best and fastest for me is to be able to :
(example)
1. Search "Weld"
2. Hide all contacts that contain "Weld" in their name
3. Now that I can't select "weld" contacts because they are hidden, select all the other contacts at once
If there isn't a way should I x-post this to "Ideas" as well?
