EXPORT XLS TABLE TO PDF - Inventor 2018 problems

I've found problem with export to pdf -  drawing with Excel table where is VERTICAL text.

Please look at exported pdf - inventor 2017 and exported pdf made by inventor 2018.

I tried with Excel 15 and Excel ver 16 (2013 & 2016) - the same WRONG results...

Thank you for answering, I made a mistake and thought the forum was for 2017 not 2018 but other designers had the problem a couple of months before I did, and yes I had the latest windows and inventor updates for 2017and everything was good until Tuesday.

Dear developers, is it such a difficult task?   When is the chance that it will be corrected?

Hi Marcin,

The issue has been fixed in our internal build targeting 2018.2 Update. The Beta version of the Update is available for tryout purpose. You can sign up Inventor Beta Program at https://bit.ly/InventorBeta.

Many thanks!

Hi Marcin,

I am sorry that I cannot comment on the exact release date of 2018.2 Update. You could go to Updates download page and get an idea of prior update release dates. It might be a good indicator for future updates.

Many thanks!

Dear Johnson

I am very disappointed, I've checked the beta version 2018.2 (TURBO), the vertical text is not properly displayed again... 😕

Please look at attachment...

Hi Marcin,

Any discussion about Beta build should happen within the Beta forum. The behavior you are describing does not sound right to me. Could you report it as a problem on Beta site?

Many thanks!

Hi Marcin,

I am sorry that I am a little bit confused right now. There must be an environmental difference. I tried the two drawings you provided on this thread. They seem to be exported to PDF in 2018.2 properly (see attached). Could you go to Help -> About and make sure you have 2018.2 Update build 217 installed?

Many thanks!

Hi Marcin,

Yes, it should be build 227. You do have the 2018.2 Update installed. Did you take a look at the pdf files I attached? They seem right to me. I cannot explain why you are not seeing the fix. I will work with the project team to understand the behavior better.

Many thanks!

Please check my files once again. As You can see, everything is good in xlsx file, and dwg, when export to pdf there is a problem !

Hi Marcin,

The pdf files were exported from my machine with your Excel files. Something is missing. I have checked with the project team. Indeed, there is still a unsolved issue here. It is not fixed in 2018.2. I am sorry for the earlier confusion.

Many thanks!
