I've found problem with export to pdf - drawing with Excel table where is VERTICAL text.
Please look at exported pdf - inventor 2017 and exported pdf made by inventor 2018.
I tried with Excel 15 and Excel ver 16 (2013 & 2016) - the same WRONG results...

Hi Marcin,
Can you attach the drawing you used to create the PDF files?
Cheers

Hi Marcin,
OK, so I see the difference between my Vertical text and your Rotated 90 degrees Text.
This is a known issue and I suggest you use Vertical text and shown in my screencast until we get a fix.
I have linked your case to the change request.
Cheers
Jon.

Hi Marcin,
I have confirmed the behavior. The Excel table with vertical text in drawing still fails to export to PDF properly even on 2018.1 Update. The fix is not yet available. I will work with project team to understand the behavior better and fix it as soon as we can. I am very sorry for the trouble in the meantime.
Many thanks!

Hi Marcin,
The behavior is different than what I see on my machine. The bad behavior I am seeing is specifically about the vertical text in a table. Could you send me an example?
Many thanks!

I'm not talking about vertical text now, I'm talking about excel table at
all ! when export to pdf, there is NO VISIBLE ANY TABLE.
@marcin_bargiel Have you tried loading a free PDF printer like Cutepdf and using that instead of Inventors functionality?
http://www.cutepdf.com/Products/CutePDF/writer.asp
That way you don't have to wait on Autodesk to fix their bugs.
But I will say that I have no problems with 2018.1 and exporting a PDF containing an xls table placed via paste special or insert object..
So its specific to your machine/files and not a global issue..

Example attached
External (virtual) pdf printer working good - as always ! i use pdfcreator
I can't understand that Autodesk instead of improving product - it makes it only worse - when it comes exporting to pdf off course... 😉

I can confirm that when I open your dwg file and export to PDF the table does NOT show in the PDF..
What program did you use to create that xls file? And what version?
Did you use "inert object" or paste to get the excel table into the dwg file..?
Please include ALL details/steps you use as the problem is specific to the exact workflow/method in which you are creating that table..
Please be VERY specific so this bug or issue can be fixed..

I tried using the dwg file you provided above and the 2 xls and xlsx files you just provided and both work just fine.. using "insert object"
