Export 3d flat pattern with annotation in dxf files

Hi, 

I need to export my 3d flat pattern in dxf but I would like to create a note(text) in my 3d metal sheet  that can be export in dxf.

My bending machine is reading this text and can be able to program by is own when reading the text.

Hi Tommy,

You want to export the text to dxf along with the flat pattern, right? Inventor text cannot be exported to dxf directly. You need to convert it. Create the sketch text in the flat pattern. Then right-click on the text -> Convert to Geometry -> select the desirable font. The text will be converted to the lines.
